Welcome to this educational website and its many pages of information on the Rocky Mountain Laser College (RMLC), its laser training and laser treatments that are offered at the college. The RMLC has designed this site to be informal and informative in regard to aesthetic laser training and services. The Rocky Mountain Laser College (RMLC) is the worlds oldest (established in 1948) and most prestigious aesthetic laser college. The RMLC now has over 2500 Certified Laser Specialists (CLS) worldwide.

The RMLC is directed by world renowned medical laser professor Lorenzo "Laserman" Kunze, M.E.  Lorenzo has over 35 years of aesthetic and medical experience and has been an owner and/or consultant to more than thirty privately-owned clinics throughout the world. The "Laserman" has utilized his vast laser knowledge and experience in mentoring graduates (during their training and after graduation) world-wide.

Lorenzo attributes his success in the aesthetic laser profession to his parents, Helen and Walter Kunze as they started the college in Denver Colorado in 1948. Both have passed away, but their knowledge and experience are very evident in the way that Lorenzo teaches his classes.

Lorenzo received his name to fame by being one of the first in the world to provide laser hair removal treatments. He was in the right place at the right time when his colleague and competitor Wallace (Wally) Roberts convinced Lorenzo that laser may be the wave of the future. Wally and Lorenzo both purchased a laser in the mid 1990's, and it changed the way hair removal was to be removed from then on. Wally opened his college in Naples Florida and Lorenzo in Denver Colorado. Wally has since passed away but his spirit stays alive through Lorenzo's teachings.

They say behind every successful man is a wonderful women, but in Lorenzo's case she stands right next to him. Throughout the years, Lorenzo has had the privilege of a loving wife and companion in his wife Martha, She gives him the support and confidence that he needs to continue to teach on a daily basis.

Dennis Kotelko, M.D., Clark Benjamin Zimmerman III, M.D., Kenneth Petri, M.D. and Jill Soyhada, M.D. are the college's medical directors and consultants. Each of these physicians has their own expertise and years of experience to assist them in providing up-to-date knowledge to our students and graduates. They all have their practice's located at the college facilities and utilize the 20 plus lasers that are available to both students and graduates. 

Besides their quality training facility, the RMLC is also a working college and offers laser aesthetic treatments (as well as SmartLipo and Zerona - non invasive lipo) to the public at a discounted price. Treatments can be provided by both the instructors and the interns enrolled in the laser college (Department of Private Occupational Schools - Higher Education, Health Occupations).

TOUR THE COLLEGE:
Take a pictorial tour of the college and some of its students. You will notice the many lasers and the many students from around the world. At a glance you will see students from different ethnic backgrounds, religious beliefs and nationalities. But the one thing that they have in common is the appreciation of modern day lasers and what they can do for us.

Receiving the proper training, accurate knowledge and working with the newest in technology, will assist our students in becoming the  top professional. Whether you are opening your own practice, adding to your spa or clinic or seeking employment...the CLS (Certified Laser Specialists) certification will give you a huge advantage over your competition. For those who have graduated from a formal aesthetic laser program or certification course and want additional training, the RMLC now is offering 4 (8-Hour) CEU CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES.

CONSUMERS BEWARE: Please beware of colleges and clinics that say that they are affiliated with the Rocky Mountain Laser College. Ask to speak to Lorenzo Kunze before doing business with any college or clinic. Several colleges are now operated by graduates of the college and may not have more than just a few lasers for students to work with. The RMLC has over 20 lasers for our students and graduates to use during their training.
