Consumer beware!!!: When looking for a college to learn accurate
knowledge, expand your career or spend your hard earned
money; ask our competition a few of the following questions.
Questions -
- Where did the laser trainer receive their
laser training?
- How many years
have they been providing state approved training?
- How long has the
person teaching the class been a
practicing electrologist or laser/IPL practitioner?
- Is the college
curriculum approved
under the Department of Higher Education, Health Occupations or the Division
of Private Occupational Schools.
- Does the school you are thinking about
attending, have to pay
for your flight and room to get you to
attend their classes and then charge
50% more for the training?
- Will you
receive the accurate knowledge of
laser hair removal and be able to operate a laser successfully once you
graduate?
- Will you be trained on
more than one particular type of laser?
Alexandrite, Nd:YAG, long pulse, short pulse, Erbium or Q-switch?
Will the college or the person training
you...stay with you for years
as a mentor after you have graduated as a 'Certified
Laser Specialist'? (only given at the RMLC)
Answers -
If they are a good instructor, they
probably attended the Rocky Mountain Laser College.
Why go to the trainee when you can go to
the trainer?
The RMLC has been a college
teaching
the aesthetic laser applications for the past
58 years. This includes laser:
hair, vein, tattoo, skin tag, sun/age spots,
wrinkle and cellulite removal.
Lorenzo Kunze, ME ,
the college principal instructor has been practicing electrology and
laser techniques
since 1971 and has been
teaching laser hair removal
longer than anyone worldwide.
Lorenzo's name to fame is he is one of the
first non-medical professionals to
utilize a laser for permanent hair removal.
The RMLC is an
approved college under the
Colorado State Commission on Higher
Education
under the
Division of Private Occupational Schools
and the
Better Business Bureau.
Several of the training centers listed on the internet are not
approved schools
and graduates of these schools will not be able to acquire the
proper insurance
without approved training.
The RMLC
wants to keep the price down to the same
charge of $3,000 that was in effect in 1997. They
do not feel
that they
should raise the price
and then offer flight and room discounts to warrant top education.
The RMLC has
successfully trained over 1,500 graduates
worldwide. 87%
of their graduates are still
utilizing their learned education
in the laser aesthetic profession.
The RMLC offers students the
opportunity
to work with many different
types of lasers in their
endeavor to learn aesthetic laser applications.
Lasers that include:
hair, vein, tattoo, skin tag, sun/age
spots, wrinkle and cellulite removal.
Lorenzo also feels that if you are in
the market to purchase a laser...one needs to
find
out which laser fits each
individual graduates
needs.
To do that a graduate must learn what each laser does and how to use
it...'all
lasers are not created equal'TM.
Lorenzo has made a promise
to his graduates to assist
them, even after graduation
to enhance the training that he has provided them. Graduates 20+ years
ago still call and/or email Lorenzo with questions regarding
cosmetic procedures
both medical and aesthetic.
NOTICE:
Prospective Students, please
do
not be
talked into purchasing a laser prior to your training. After you have the proper
training, you can make a better decision
on what laser to purchase. There are great choices when it comes to
purchasing/leasing a laser...so wait
until you have the opportunity to work with several types of lasers before
buying or leasing.
