Once the hair shaft has been removed from the follicle the LOHS AU can be allowed to penetrate deeper into the pilo-sebaceous system, thus providing a reduction in further hair growth.

The consumer clinical studies provided by the RMLC (Rocky Mountain Laser College, est. 1948) in Denver Colorado have shown that even steaming or adding heat to the desired area has opened up the follicle to allow the LOHS AU to have some significant results. However, to improve the efficacy of the LOHS AU: laser, electrolysis, waxing and tweezing have proven to have faster and superior results. Studies have further shown that the light vellus (baby-fine) hair have been drastically reduced in number after only one or two applications.

Once the LOHS AU clinical studies are concluded (2008) we feel that one can expect results in about 28 days. The LOHS AU is not a depilatory so it will not eat away or burn the hair off of the body. LOHS AU is a hair growth inhibitor that affects the follicle by changing the PH balance of the moisture gradient in the follicle and slows down the blood flow to the area, which in turn can stop future hair growth on light vellus hair.
